Donations

ex-offender.co.uk was 1-year-old in November 2011.  A couple of weeks before the site’s 1st birthday, panic set in.  I did not have the finances to pay for the hosting of the site for another year!  I’m unemployed & homeless (temporary accommodation).  I have financed the hosting & development of ex-offender with money from Jobseekers (unemployment benefit).  That caused many problems for me financially.  However, I was given more than a lifeline due to when an anonymous donor who enjoyed my site & the work I am trying to do.  That act blew me away, it was out of the blue because I only informed people via Twitter ex-offender was going offline in November.  The donor advised that I put something on my website to seek donations – I informed him that I hated asking for other people’s money, but he said my voice was important & he knew people appreciated the work I was doing. I can’t thank him enough for his kind donation, that not only kept ex-offender.co.uk alive, but also gave me the confidence I was doing something right & useful in highlighting the need for change.  So here I am asking for your hard-earned money to keep the work & development alive.  The work I do is not funded in any way other than my self and the guy who donated in November, so any help you can give is appreciated so much.  Thank you for your support.
